Alphanet Solutions’ AlphaDataManager vehicle data exploitation and management platform AlphaDataManager has surpassed this December an important milestone: more than 1,000,000,000 number plate readings for the whole of 2024.
‘This milestone reflects our commitment to the digital transformation of municipalities, as we make technology a key tool to build safer, more sustainable and connected environments,’ says Francesc Minguillon, CEO of Alphanet Solutions.
Thanks to the processing and checking of these number plates, hundreds of municipalities across the country are improving their public safety by receiving alerts when a car is detected whose number plate is included in a list of police interest or by being able to regulate their low emission zone (LEZ) or regulated access zone (RAZ), allowing or prohibiting access to vehicles according to the list on which each number plate is included.
These are just some of the functionalities of AlphaDataManager, a collaborative platform that transforms urban safety and mobility data, obtained from number plate reading systems, into strategic information that allows cities to design data-driven public policies and police forces to fight crime in a more proactive way, as it also enables different police units to share data with each other.
Based in Mataró (Barcelona), Alphanet works with more than 200 municipalities in the country to achieve an intelligent management of municipal life that improves the well-being of citizens by reducing crime and through safer, more sustainable and efficient urban mobility.
